FRIENDLY LLC Expands the Range of Atex Radios

DP810(5)Ex are highly solid professional DMR radios, designed for special use in dangerous environment with explosive gas or liquid. They are certified in acordance with the requirements of technical regulations of the Custom Union “On the safety of equipment in explosive atmospheres” and was produced in accordance with the Direction 2014/34/EU “Equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres”.

It should be noted that the instrinsically safe radios, produced by Kirisun meet the standard MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G, that guarantees the error-free use of the device in challenging operational conditions. Special frame construction, designed using the technology of silicone encupsulation, that was used also for battery block, provides impact, water and dust resistance. Thus the radios also meets IP68 protection class. It is the only instrunsically safe radio with such characteristics.

All components of protection scheme (the board is made as a distributive structure) are proved by certification authorities and meet international ATEX standards.

DP810Ex (you can find details here) differes from DP815Ex (you can find details here) by the full key board, 1,8-inch full color display, increased channel and zone capacity. Thus the users are able to choose the model that meets the user’s requirements and budget.
